Set strategic IT goals for the department. Develop and maintain positive relationships with the four divisions of Family & Preventive Medicine: Family Medicine, Occupational & Environmental Health, Physician Assistant Studies, and Public Health.Manage the day-to-day IT operations and staff consisting of desktop support (procurement, configuration, installation, and support through retirement), server support (Windows and Linux servers and appliances hosting web, database, and files services), user support (accounts, role and permission configuration, training), and internal web and application development.

Provide support and guidance to eighteen Program faculty and seven staff members concerning technology.Responsible for project management, design, implementation, and support of a live distance education system with 12 video conferencing systems on two campuses. Responsible for developing and providing training to Program faculty, staff, and instructors on the use of the video conference system.Act as a resource for other IT professionals within the Department.
