Responsible for the sales of MetLife Group Insurance Products, through Insurance Brokers, to employers with less than 500 lives in SW OH, KY and IN- Revitalized the sales office by creating a customer-centric cohesive sales team by building trust and accountability.- Hired, trained and developed all sales reps. Currently there are six sales reps and one trainee.- Historically exceeded sales plan. 2008 sales plan was $12,057,000- Responsible for the persistency and the profit performance of a 51,000,000 block of insurance premium.- Accepted the additional responsibility to ignite sales strategy in the failing Detroit market, in an office marked by high turnover of the sales staff. - Reorganized the offices sales territory to generate additional opportunities while increasing closing ratio's.- Hired and trained an Associate manger while eliminating office turnover during my tenure.-For the first time ever the Detroit Sales office exceeded its sales plan in 2007.
