Heading up the Live Events team, I developed the Gartner EMEA summit programme, which continued to flourish under my leadership. I delivered shows, but also developed the account selling in new services - graphics in 2015 and sponsor AV in 2018. Winning a new 3 year deal in 2016 and again in 2019 the account went from strength to strength and now sits in the top 5 GES EMEA accounts.Taking on the Congress team in 2017 to form the newly formed Events team, we continued to grow and I now manage a team of 7 event production managers.Projects delivered in this role also include:Commonwealth Games - Glasgow 2014Ryder Cup Media Centre - Paris, 2018European Championships - Glasgow 2018We are now making headway in the corporate space and have recently worked on projects for Nutanix, Xilinx, Cloudbees, Microsoft and Oracle.

During my time as Portfolio Director I continued to manage the GES London account management team as well as managing the booming CloserStill Media account.It was during this role that I took my first steps into the corporate world taking on the delivery of the newly won Gartner EMEA Summit programme, which comprised of 18 events annually across EMEA, including shows in Germany and Dubai.

Headed up the EMEA Account Management division, managing 18 account managers and support team who ran the entire GES exhibition/tradeshow portfolio, worth approximately £40m in revenue annually.Personally ran the CloserStill Media account from the time GES won the contract - an account which grew from 4 shows to 12 shows over the course of the 3 year contract. I then successfully won a new 3 year contract in 2013.Managed the London 2012 Olympic Test Event at ExCeL in November 2011 which enabled GES to be in prime position to win the temporary overlay at 27 venues (including training venues) at the London 2012 Olympic Games.I managed the entire project from start to finish running a team of 18 project managers - a project which lasted 6 months and included the transition to the London 2012 Paralympic Games. The project was worth £9m. I regard this as one of my finest career achievements as I also had to ensure that our existing business clients were not affected by the project delivery.

I joined Melville to run the newly won Clarion account which comprised of 12 exhibitions annually including the portfolio of Baby Shows, Top Gear Live, Destinations, Mortgage Business Expo, Multimodal and Counter Terror Expo. Managing a team of 3 based at ExCeL in London we strived to deliver excellent service to the account.
