As a protagonist I advocate for change. I am optimistic there is always a better way to influence the future through design.I believe design is a conversation that calls for curiosity, problem solving and genuine collaboration. Over the past 15 years I’ve built a reputation as an insightful designer and generous collaborator, focused on helping clients articulate and deliver their vision. As a Principal at Hassell, I bring a diverse sector knowledge to the team, with a passion for lifestyle, hospitality and workplace projects. By empowering talent through empathy and honest dialogue, coupled with high recognition for contribution, I believe you are able to foster great design culture.Meeting new people, working with different cultures and brands is what really excites me about the design process. It enables us to explore new possibilities, challenge the past, to test new ideas. I am particularly interested in the link between activity, behaviour and our emotional response to space. As designers we have the ability to evoke the senses through how we craft space. Prior to joining Hassell, I directed interiors at Carr including the award-winning Jackalope Hotel in Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula wine region, Red Energy’s workplace in a converted Melbourne factory, a suite of international offices for law firm Norton Rose Fulbright, as well as several workplaces for tier one global consulting firms, Bain and Company and The Boston Consulting Group
