This recognition includes my leadership of the development of Change Management strategies, training curriculum and delivery of program/project management related courses.I provided Hands-on Business Process and Change Management workshops, reporting workshops, classroom training courses for role-based access to Navy ERP and Senior mgmt. consulting support. Major clients of Naval Air Systems Command HQ and Warfare Center sites in Patuxent River, MD, China Lake, CA, Orlando, FL, and the Naval Sea Systems Warfare Centers located at Newport RI, Crane IN, and EOD Tech Division, Indian Head, MD.Accomplishments: • Provided more than fifty (50) on-site hands-on orientation sessions (2-3 days duration) of the Program/Project Management process and Navy ERP solution to more than 1400 key stakeholders representing six (6) US Navy R&D sites. Surveys at each session revealed that there was a 60-70% increase in confidence levels for the preparedness of the Navy organization for successful deployment of Navy ERP.• Developed and deployed a Train the Trainer strategy for the Program/Project Management community that drastically increased the effectiveness and consistency of Instructor Led Training by more than 85%, based on instructor self surveys and end-user classroom surveys. This was a based on a comparison of the earlier deployment of Navy ERP at the Naval Air and Naval Sea HQ sites.

As a senior manager for this deployment, I am action-oriented and focused on working collaboratively with NAVSEA leadership, NAVSEA sites, and the Program Executives (PEOs) to generate leadership buy-in and involvement. I originally began this assignment as the Business Systems Integration Lead which required my vast knowledge of the financial systems integration efforts (Funds Mgmt, Finance, Sales & Distribution and Controlling/Costing) with the other key modules (Project Mgmt, Materials Mgmt, Inventory Mgmt & HR). I had to ensure these integrated systems provided financial compliance and auditability required by the Navy and the Federal Gov’t.

As the NAVAIR team lead for the Project Systems business module & legacy systems data conversion to Navy ERP, I managed a staff of technical and business process based program/project managers, SAP data analysts and classroom training developers/instructors that were focused on the successful deployment of Navy ERP from an existing SAP deployment pilot program. I successfully led significant upgrade efforts to integrate all Project Systems efforts with the Financial/Funds modules to ensure compliance of financial statements were maintained while improving the supporting business processes. In addition, I led the Change Management effort for the project management processes being deployed within Navy ERP. The main challenges and successes for this effort was working collaboratively with NAVAIR leadership, NAVAIR sites, and the Program Executives to generate leadership buy-in and involvement, management ownership, and employee awareness and preparedness that resulted in a successful deployment of these industry standard processes/systems.

As the Management Control System Focal Point for the Command and the Team Lead for the Naval Aviation Depot’s Process Action Team responsible for the development and improvement of existing Management Information Systems and processes to provide valid Earned Value Management data for NAVAIR Program offices.
