Planned, supported or managed events such as the Spring Design Show, the ‘Invent Your Future’ Conference and Women in Design Exhibition.During the planning of the new CIA campus, advised the administration and architects on the overall facility design. Planned the layout of the new CIA Design Facility, coordinated Design Environment transition from the old facility to the new, including set-up of the new facility. Activities included planning the use of space, student, faculty and guest experience, furniture, finishes, displays and signage. Modernized the industrial design curriculum. Spearheaded the growth of the design programs in size, quality and recognition, including first-ever rankings by Business Week and Design Intelligence. Also, support the Manage by Designing initiative at The Weatherhead School of Management (thought leadership), the ’17 Swedish Designers Exhibition’ US debut at The Cleveland Institute of Art in November 2009 (thought leadership) and ‘design exchanges’ where local corporate design studios share knowledge, techniques and best practices (thought leadership). The initiative generated national and international press, in addition to visits by dignitaries from China, Korea and Sweden (thought leadership). The effort was suspended due to the 'Great Recession.'
