I have been involved in sales of construction equipment for over 25 years and in that time i have worked from dealership level to manufacturer subsidiary to now being involved in running 3 separate companies both supplying products and services to construction companies in both Ireland and the UK. In this time I have gained vast experience of multiple product groups inc Quarry products, Heavy and light excavation, Access and Asset management software systems. The following is a brief summary on each company i am involved with and its business area.Inspectec provides on-site asset inspection services in Ireland and the U.k. We work closely with our colleagues in Cga software where we offer health and safety and asset management software to clients in a wide variety of industries. We are unique is our industry as our software uses the NFC tagging system where each asset is assigned a tag where all its information can be read using a mobile phone or tablet once the unique app has been downloaded.Industries such as construction and transport are using this system on a day to day to help reduce the paper trail associated with recording this information.In 2020 Inspectec was appointed All Ireland Distributor for the Almac range of rough terrain tracked booms, scissors lifts and tracked multi loaders and also the Farraone range of mast lifts for all of Ireland.Last year we added the Thaler range of mini telescopic handlers and loaders to our portfolio and earlier this year we were appointed the distributor for Ireland for the Complete range of Access Equipment from Zoomlion Access Equipment.Sme Plant Sales is the exclusive distributor in Ireland and the U.k for the Hammer range of hydraulic rock breakers and demolition attachments. Hammer is part of the Kinshofer group who's companies include, Augertorque and Cangini.We also represent the Chicago Pneumatic range of light construction products, Ital Tower lighting towers, Cast mini loaders and tool carriers, Brian James trailers and Rock zone excavator mounted screens and crushing buckets.Our heavy line equipment includes Keestrack crushing, screening and stackers for the recycling and quarry industries and Komplet range of mini and city crushers ideal for recycling applications.These companies we represent on an all Ireland basis.Overseas Plant Exports were in 2021 appointed the All Ireland distributors for the Magni Range of telescopic handlers up to 51m reach.
