Processing/ Leadership-Related activities:- Commercial Scale Purification of MAbs (Monoclonal Anitbodies): Depth Filtration skids & Tangential Flow Filtration Systems, Column Chromatography, Viral Inactivation/Filtration, Ultrafiltration/Diafiltration- Midstream Operations: Completion of buffer preparation for both Purification and UFDF operations- Operates Automated and Soft-Manual Clean-in-Place (CIP) and Steam-in-place (SIP) Systems- On-The-Spot Quality Control: pH, Conductivity, & Dissolved Oxygen, Endotoxin/ Bioburden samples taken to ensure our product is well within our exacting standards- Commercial Scale (60-100cm, 56-157L) Chromatography Column Packing/Unpacking- Performs reports with monthly performance feedback meetings to better develop their career path in addition to providing on-the-floor leadership- Works closely on the development of new manufacturing associates, teaching them manufacturing practices, best business practices and cGXP methods- Executes/Edits/Reviews Commercial Batch Sheets and Batch Records and electronic batch records (MES)- Initiates and Completes compliance documentation including EOE (Evaluation of Event), NOE (Notification of event), CAPAs (Corrective and Preventative Actions), and CCs (Change Controls)- Coordinates process activities with manufacturing support groups in process areas and support areasAdditional Activities:- Tested/implemented full automation of processes in multiple Process and Support Areas - Rolled out multiple new molecules to commercial scale to combat the current Covid Pandemic- Relied on as Purification production SME (Subject Matter Expert) for both the purification process itself as well as the background knowledge of the equipment workings and the process areas themselves

- Instructed both graduate and undergraduate students in the methods of biofermentation and cell culture- Taught the use of equipment such as the RamBIO benchtop incubator and the Celligen 310 benchtop biofermenter- Instructed how to correctly and accurately write standard operating procedures and work orders as well as follow cGMP- Ensured proper preparation of media and cleanliness of the lab and materials were cleaned and autoclaved properly

- Lead collection, testing and analysis of environmental samples aimed at assessing the effects of manmade and natural pollutants on the South River Watershed- Developed analytical protocols using applications such as: ARC GIS, Surfer, and Voxler in combination with equipment like the EXO2 - Augmented permanent laboratory staff in certified lab at US Naval Academy

- Worked as a manager to 10+ private community facilities over the course of three summers- Instructed numerous new lifeguards on the correct habits to have while working in order to provide a safe environment- Kept the pools in swimming condition by monitoring the chemical balances of the water daily and adjusting accordingly
