Following retirement from Danaher in March, 2020, Dan joined KKR’s Americas Private Equity team as an Executive Advisor focusing on Healthcare, Industrial, and Technology markets. In May, 2021, Dan became Chairman of Therapy Brands, a KKR Healthcare portfolio company, and subsequently Chairman of Bettcher Industries and Circor, KKR Industrials portfolio companies.While at Danaher, Dan led performance and innovation across Danaher’s Industrial and Healthcare businesses from 2006 through March, 2020 when he retired from the company. His leadership and experience played an instrumental role in evolving the company culture with both DBS and Diversity & Inclusion, where he served as the executive sponsor of Danaher’s Diversity and Inclusion Council beginning with its formation in 2014.As an experienced and respected leader of both businesses and people, Dan joined Danaher in 2006 as a Group Executive and corporate officer leading Danaher Motion. In 2008, Dan became an Executive Vice President with responsibility for the Industrial Technologies segment, which included Product Identification and many of the businesses which are now Fortive Corporation. In 2015, Dan led the transition of Pall Corporation into Danaher as well as our Life Sciences and Product Identification platforms. From 2017, he transitioned to leadership of the Diagnostics and Dental platforms and, in September 2019, helped lead the separation of Danaher's Dental business into a standalone public Company, Envista Holdings Corporation, where he continued as a Director until April, 2020.Prior to Danaher, Dan spent 19 years with Arvin Industries, which became ArvinMeritor, in a variety of positions where, he was Senior Vice President and President, Light Vehicle Aftermarket.
