Growing up in the multicultural yet tough environment in Southall.Dan's early career took off as an MC in the Grime scene with The Gritty Committee, frequently collaborating & featuring on the pirate radio station Freeze FM with True Tiger and Dynasty Crew.As a producer his breakthrough came with "Bright Lights" a collaboration with ZDOT, Wiley, Giggs and Dipset rapper Juelz Santana.Dan then began working with Nick Worthington, the founder of 679 Recordings, who introduced him to Rudimental and MNEK. They shared a studio at Major Toms for 3 years, where Dan co-wrote and produced Syron's debut releases "Here" and "Breaking" with Black Butter Records. Under the name Dan Dare, he then went on to co-write/co-produce global hit "Head & Heart" by Joel Corry & MNEK, which topped charts & achieved multi-platinum status worldwide. After forming electronic duo KOLIDESCOPES with Yeah Boy, a record deal with Parlophone followed. Dan picked up a BMI Award & was also nominated for an Ivor Novello & Brit Award. Notable collaborations include Marina & The Diamonds, Charli XCX, Selah Sue, WSTRN, Mario, Dillon Francis, Becky Hill, Sonny Fodera, Hussain Manawer, Chris Malinchak, Liam Payne, Sam Feldt, REI AMI and Newton Faulkner. Dan signed a worldwide publishing deal with SonyATV in 2020.
