I advanced from an analyst to a lead within my first year. I transitioned from working on Operations for the entire team, focusing on Ticket Queue Operations, Team Coverage and Holiday Staffing. Moving from overseeing a team of generalists to leading an emergency response team with specialized expertise in various harm vectors. Specifically, I oversaw Discord's Exigent Team, which was responsible for providing 24-hour emergency law enforcement response. My role involved ensuring comprehensive coverage and maintaining a balance between legal compliance, company policies, and user privacy to review and process user information for global law enforcement agencies. Navigated through multiple reorganizations of our Trust and Safety Team, formed and managed the Exigent Law Enforcement Response Team, a team specializing in response to potential real world threats escalated by global law enforcement and government agencies.- Maintained an under 15 minute first response time average from 2022-2024. - Regularly collaborated with government agencies (FBI) to maintain an efficient and transparent partnership. - In response to large-scale real world events, co-created the internal "Crisis Protocol". This included: creating investigation workflows, identifying and updating relevant stakeholders, and synthesizing information for communication and public relation needs. - Identified key harm vertical that required specialized attention. Formed Self Harm Prevention team focuses on reviewing and removing self-harm practices related to Eating Disorders and Non Suicidal Self Injury. - To enhance safety measures, I established escalation protocols and provided training to third-party vendors in content review for Self Harm Risk. This measure aimed to ensure that high-risk situations endangering lives were reported to law enforcement proactively, with the goal of preventing loss of life.

I managed 22-26 educators, upheld Paul Mitchell's standards, and taught classes. I fostered a positive environment for all, conducted staff training and coaching, and resolved student disputes. I also processed enrollment terminations and appeals. Operationally, I coordinated with sister campuses on the educational calendar and updates. I regularly met with upper management for school growth plans and led monthly trainings. I handled hiring of educators and assigned their roles.
