The world is changing around us. San Diego is recognized as ground zero for innovation in water supply management. But that’s not enough. Our responsibility is to plan, prepare and build resiliency for whatever comes. My priorities for the Water Authority include addressing the challenge of water affordability and helping to secure a long-term plan for sustainably operating and sharing the Colorado River. As a leader of a public agency, I believe in building trust by being transparent. I’m committed to recruiting and retaining the best people, setting them up for success and positioning them to become the next leaders. On the personal side, I’m a proud SDSU alum and I’m passionate about Aztec basketball.
