Construction/Operations project manager for a portfolio of a rolling 20 MWdc of distributed generation projects in NY, MA, NJ, and MD. Coordinate with the internal sales and development managers and manage the external consultants to shepherd the project front end design, energy estimation, real estate and permitting entitlement, and budget/project finance development leading to the construction phase. Responsible for the procurement and EPC/GC contract negotiation and administration. Manage the scope, schedule, and budget of 40M of construction and procurement contracts. Manage the interconnection interface with various utilities including the front end design submittals and back-end witness test and interconnection activities and utility upgrade design and construction coordination.

Responsible for managing the engineering, procurement, construction, start-up and commissioning of the world’s largest horizontal single-axis tracker thin film photovoltaic (PV) project (266 MWdc, $850 million), located in California. Led project management team and multiple contractors constructing 2,000 acre PV plant, 230 kV substation and 10 mile grid connection. Structured the project execution approach and staffing, managed the project budget and schedule, ensured timely and complaint performance by multiple contractors and managed all day-to-day project activities. Resolved complex technical and commercial issues arising during project performance while avoiding costly arbitration and litigation. Completed project construction ahead of schedule and under budget, contributing $2 million in accelerated 2013 revenue and doubling the megawatt size of Silver Ridge Power’s fleet of operating plants. Supported the project development process through LGIA amendments, PPA execution, adjacent developer co-tenancy agreements, financial model support and other entitlements including the conditional use permit, development agreements, transmission easements and encroachment permits.

Responsible for land acquisition and tenant real estate transactions, permitting, zoning, design coordination and construction and project management. Led development of projects valued up to $120 million, including a 100-acre 800,000 sf big-box retail development with $60M of site work and building construction. Spearheaded due diligence, land purchase, rezoning, permitting and design efforts, including interfacing with municipal agencies and third party stakeholders. Structured project proformas, negotiated and administered engineering and construction contracts, coordinated and managed site work and controlled costs and schedules to achieve project budget objectives.
