• Directs the MSU Alumni Offices programs and initiatives that engage the current students• Supervise 3 student employees• Engage a diverse array of student initiatives with the goal of strengthening their relationship with the university and introducing them University Advancement programs and resources • Lead facilitator of strategic university partnerships to integrate alumni awareness into campus programming focusing on service, community building, and philanthropy• Coordinates partnership opportunities with a diverse cross-section of university departments, student organizations, and entities including the Office of Student Affairs & Services, Resident Education, The MSU Multi-Cultural Center, The Associated Students of MSU, colleges, etc.• Leads the MSU Spartan Days of Service committee in close partnership with the Center for Community Engaged Learning, Residence Education and the Multi-Cultural Center to facilitate 3-4 campus wide days of service• Lead the ongoing development of the MSUA’s new graduate transition strategy; including the development of all communications; social media; presence at senior/new graduate campus events; and regional alumni club introductions • Serve as a liaison between campus programs and our Annual Giving team in identifying areas of opportunities to fundraise for student programs• Maintain contact with the leadership teams of department student initiatives including the 3 major student governing bodies• Identify areas of opportunity to integrate alumni or the resources of the alumni office into currently existing campus programs• Serve as the primary advisor for the Senior Class Council; assist with the identification of fall/spring commencement speakers; the senior class campaign; and annual senior awards banquet• Coordinate the MSUA’s presence Fall and Spring Commencement• Coordinate the MSUA’s participation In New Student Orientation (NSO)

• Directly supervise a 35-member student board; 100+ campus tour guides; 35+ athletic student section volunteers; mascot squad; and 1 FTE• Develop leadership opportunities, trainings, and speakers for students associated with SAF programming • Run an extensive membership program that provides programs and services to 6500+ student per year • Manage a $500,000+ operating budget comprised of event, merchandise, membership, and sponsorship revenue• Directly oversee and supervise 100+ campus tour guides in partnership with the Office of Admissions. Responsible for admitted and summer tour programs training, coordination, and tour fulfillment• Oversee the day to day and game day operations of the MSU men’s basketball (Izzone) and men’s hockey (ATeam) athletic student sections in partnership with MSU Athletics• Conceptualized and executed in partnership with the MSU men’s basketball office the annual Izzone Alumni Reunion game• Oversaw all MSU student ticketing operations for 3 NCAA Final Four men’s basketball tournaments • Oversee all operations, appearances, training, and coordination of the Sparty Mascot Program• Plan, market, and execute large scale university events – MSU Families @ Homecoming; Izzone Campout; Spartan Spirit Pep Rally• Operate an extensive merchandising program in partnership with Nike Inc. Annual revenue exceeding $50,000 per year• Assist MSU alumni regional clubs with annual summer admitted student send-offs• Attend MSU alumni regional club events such as scholarship dinners, golf outings, and fundraisers, to promote support for student programming• Create career exploration opportunities for students with alumni of MSU such as the FutureAlumni@ Series that brings current students to alumni places of work within the state of Michigan. Partners have included the Detroit Red Wings; Meijer; iWerk Creative; and, Pratt & Miller Automotive

Coordinated marketing activity for the mid-Michigan region to include the Lansing, Grand Rapids, and Jackson MI areas.
