This included managing over 1000 volunteers, 4 mobile feeding sites, 1 Large Feeding Center which fed over 1,500 meals a day. My responsibilities also included inter-agency collaboration to enable the most effective service.• In 1993, I was selected to become the liaison for The Salvation Army at the Governor’s office for the State of Illinois to assist in coordination of disaster relief operations. This task included on-site inspections of relief efforts along the Mississippi River and the surrounding communities. Assessing damage and developing a plan of action for relief efforts. Also included in this position was intense collaboration with over 20 different relief agencies and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).
