In support of the Fieldglass SaaS platform, my team and I implemented three state-of-the-art data centers using VMWare 5.1, vDS, Cisco Nexus 10GB networking, Equallogic SAN, SQL 2012 with multi-site availability groups and shared nothing storage models, as well as a dual vendor firewall configuration utilizing Fortinet and Cisco technologies.Responsible for delivering projects including a centralized service catalog, SLA collection and availability reporting application, and extensive system and application monitoring systems to ensure ownership, availability, and reporting functions were properly tracked and met business requirements. The projects were accomplished using both 3rd party programs and internally developed applications leveraging functionality in SharePoint and SQL. These individual tools were then integrated with custom built APIs for seamless data sharing between platforms. All tools build upon standardized ITIL IT service management best practices.
