Above all else, I am a Creator, a Learner, and a Problem-Solver.Throughout my life, I have always found myself gravitating towards these roles. As a child, I loved to draw and to play around with my family's desktop computers. I wrote and illustrated books, attended an animation camp, designed imaginary skateboard brands, built a whole lot of stuff out of LEGO, and learned to create programs on my TI-84 calculator with BASIC. High school culminated with one of my art pieces winning an award in a school art show, and with me scoring a 5 on my AP Computer Science exam. Naturally, I went on to study both Computer Science and Studio Art in college. I'll be the first one to admit, it was kind of an odd combination, but it gave me all the opportunities I could dream of to lean into those roles, and that in turn helped me to solidify who I am at my core.In the 6 years since I've graduated, I've been fortunate to work in several technical positions that give me opportunities to create, learn, and problem-solve every day. On top of that, in my free time, I design board/card games, create models in Blender, write stories for D&D campaigns, and carve woodblock prints. I'm also learning Python and Japanese.
