Manage all high level issues with emphasis on increasing customer satisfaction/loyalty, personnel development, sales strategies, contract execution, and productivity gains. Obtaining positive financial results due to complete rebuild of historically poor performing business operation. Highlights of achievements:Positive financial growth and leverage in all categories since starting role in March 2006. Results in 2009 vs. year prior to arrival (2005):Revenue growth of 9.4%Gross Margin growth of 39.3%Gross Profit growth of 78.5%Operating Income growth of 94.8%.Continuous top grading of personnel at all levels of the operation. Implemented formal Technician Lead Program in January 2008 in order to drive revenue growth. Revenue growth from $126k in 2007 to $3.6M in 2009. Implemented formal Technician Quote Program in June 2007 to drive revenue growth. Revenue growth from $181k in '06 to $636k in '09. Tech quotes currently account for 25% of all quoted work sold and deliver 47% GM on average. Expanded Tech Quote/Tech Lead Programs in January 2010 to include consolidated offices in Charlotte and Greenville. Exceeding $7.65M annual sales goal by 15%. Develop and lead monthly business and operational review with all associates. 2006Basic responsibility was to manage daily operation of $2.5M HVAC service business with 15 member staff. Realized organizational and efficiency improvements in a business that had grown significantly over a short period of time. Encouraged fast pace, proactive, positive culture environment. Typical duties included:Continuous review of financial and operational metrics such as gross margin, gross profit, days to bill, days bill outstanding, work in progress, burden labor rate, contract compliance, open calls, call backs/credits, warranty claims, manpower loading, and unapplied labor.Customer visits - sales calls, work follow-up, feedback/review.Service agreement and quoted work review and cost estimate validation.Safety training and enforcement. Technician performance evaluation, review, and career path development.

Primary responsibilities included all aspects of Design/Build and Plan & Spec. HVAC projects such as site survey, engineering calculations and design, cost estimating, design presentation, purchasing of materials and equipment, scheduling of manpower, coordination of all trades with building owner and other contractors, safety implementation, cost forecasting/billing, contract documentation, and extensive interaction with Architectural and Engineering firms. Portfolio averaged roughly $3.0M and typically included 15 to 20 projects running concurrently. Project highlights included:Project Director and On-site coordinator for HVAC portion of $80M paper mill construction. Designed several custom-made air handling/air washer units ranging in size from 8,300 to 80,000 CFM. Numerous HVAC projects related to all aspects of new equipment installation and replacement. Typically performed all engineering calculations, designed solutions, estimated costs, sold, and executed system installation. This also included scheduling and coordinating multiple trades required for construction and installation. VF Knitwear

Primary responsibilities included project management and maintenance associated with HVAC, compressed air, and process water systems for twenty textile producing facilities. Other duties included safety and environmental issues such as hazardous waste disposal, pressure vessel certification, regulatory reporting, etc. Managerial duties included supervision of twenty person maintenance staff. Developed and implemented comprehensive preventative maintenance program for all equipment in every facility. Experience with daily operations, maintenance, and projects pertaining to the following equipment:HVAC - all types including centrifugal and air cooled chillers, packaged and split system DX units, air washers, air handling units, ventilation systems, boilers, etc. DDC, electro-mechanical, and pneumatic based control systems. Compressed air systems including centrifugal, screw, and reciprocating compressors, air dryers, filter assemblies, vacuum pumps, etc. Ancillary equipment such as pumps, valves, flow meters, water softeners, VFDs, piping, ductwork, motor control centers, PLCs, etc.

Primary role was designer of HVAC systems for new aircraft carrier construction. Also defined scope of work for change orders and selected equipment.
