As IT Director I take on the responsibility of everything IT for the firm. That entails purchasing, inventorying, budgeting, managing, networking, security, and servicing all of our equipment as well as manage the IT team.

As SS Manager, I manage a team of professionals that do anything from transcription work, to modifying advanced documents, to burning and labeling CD/DVDs. Plus much more. I also serve as the firm trainer. If there is a new product available to the firm, I learn and then train it to those who it applies to, whether they be an attorney, paralegal, or secretary. I also serve as Systems Admin and Senior Help Desk where I take care of a myriad of duties from maintaining the servers/network, to litigation support, to application support for the end user.

Manage, evaluate, and train up to 13 new and old InstructorsTeach almost all applications that are available on the market ranging from web and photo design to database development.Show dedication by teaching 8 hours every day and then studying at home for 4 hours, and working double-shifts when needed.Received top evaluation ratings by students. Rated the best Applications Instructor that New Horizons Salt Lake City has ever had in relation to number of evaluations in 2002 and 2003.

Responsible for the management and actions of 7 Instructors, including a program at the Juvenile Slate Canyon Correctional Facility in Utah County.Writing and Development of Curriculum for MicroCert MOS program. Responsible for good working relationships between U.S. Vocational Rehabilitation and MicroCert. Responsible for purchasing, coordinating, and searching for special offers, discounts, and “negotiating” between Microsoft (Certiport) and MicroCert.Became a Content Reviewer for Certiports MOS program.Responsible for hiring, laying off, and training of all Instructors that worked in the MOS program.Responsible for setting up new classrooms and locations in Utah, Idaho, and Texas; purchases of hardware, software, books, exam vouchers, furniture, phone lines, ISDN lines, etc.Responsible for new developments in the MOS program, such as beta (at the time) testing for Office XP and Beta usage of Microsoft applications.Responsible for the building up of classroom networks, printers, computers, and software.Have administered a little more than 1,000 exams for the Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) program.Responsible for setting up of Professional Manager Reports for owners of company.Responsible for seeing trends in students on whether they are able to finish the program quickly or at a below average rate.
