After becoming a qualified podiatrist and opening my first practice more than three decades ago, I am proud to now operate the largest group of podiatry practices across the Sunshine Coast, Dan Everson Podiatry. With a focus on helping more Australians to move without pain, I have dedicated my career to researching and achieving first-rate outcomes for patients. I am passionate about developing evidence-based solutions, and strive to consistently push the boundaries of scientific possibility and remain at the forefront of orthotic innovation. This inherent thirst for knowledge prompted me to launch a second company, Kinetic Orthotics, which produces Australia’s first computer-designed and manufactured custom orthotics. Our revolutionary Sensokinetic technology has been granted a patent in acknowledgement of its ability to assist practitioners in identifying orthotics that optimise the way force is transferred when walking or running. In addition to my roles at Dan Everson Podiatry and Kinetic Orthotics, I regularly work with universities to undertake clinical research and have helped to develop several undergraduate education programs in Australia.
Listed skills include Orthotics, Sports Medicine, Podiatry, Biomechanics, and 13 others.
