I am a Minneapolis, Minnesota native that found my way to Sioux Falls during the boom time of the late 80s. I started with a small time AM radio station where I learned the art and science of advertising and promotions and eventually became the host of the number one morning radio show in Sioux Falls. Now I spend my day running around Sioux Falls, connecting with business leaders and figuring out ways to keep them deliriously happy with their advertising. Oh, and you can always see me ramping his Mustang over buildings. So, next time you look to the horizon and see a black, car shaped object flying through the air, remember that Dan is coming for you.

Talent/Producer/ManagerRadio/Television Broadcasting Jan 1983 - PresentMinnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, South DakotaSigned on with KKLS FM 104.7 Sioux Falls, SD in June 1987 anchoring the Dan & Craig morning show featuring a heavy guest roster and large market production elements. The show became a South Dakota favorite and ratings winner through February 1994. Craig still owes me lunch. Saddled up with Outlaw Country KTWB FM Sioux Fall,SD hosting the morning show teamed up with long-time friend and writing partner Dan Christopherson. The show was a runaway hit scoring number one ratings across all major demos for the next few years. Also served as operations manager in charge of station PR, on-air talent, promotions and making competing radio stations suffer. 1996-1999 Helped build, staff, format, program and launch KSOB FM 95-7...the first all 80's "Hair Metal" format in the country. Began co-hosting "That Country Video Show" on KCPO Television with Dan Christopherson in 2006. Currently serve as host and head writer on the weekly one hour program. Also did on-air stints @ WAQE FM 98 in Rice Lake, WI. and KLEU AM in Waterloo, IA.

Proceeded to shut it down, clean it up and re-brand it as the place where farmers, business people, bikers and cowboys all felt at home. Organized and executed South Dakota's first ever "Lawn Tractor Poker Run"...event is still being done by current owners ( just not as well ;-) ). Also pulled off a poker run on horse back drawing 125 participants riding a nine mile run complete with supply wagon and rolling outhouses. People told me these things couldn't be done. Those people were wrong. I sold the place in 2006 for a profit. People said that couldn't be done either.
