Ever since I was a kid I've always had a passion for understanding the world around me. It was only as recently as 18 months ago that I transferred that passion into IT, when I built my first websites with Wordpress. After that, I felt the urge to customize my web apps more and to understand the process behind it, using HTML/CSS. By that point I was hooked, so naturally the next step was learning JavaScript. I like ES6+ because it allows for cleaner, clearer, concise,more modular code, allowing you to write your applications faster. Last summer I was lucky enough to be accepted in an internship program at the Lateral Group, where I've learned React.js and all its best practices such as functional components, hooks or redux toolkit. During the internship I've built a few web applications, which I've posted in my portfolio, along with my first two web apps, built with HTML/CSS and another two apps built with JavaScript, and I'm also proficient in Tailwind CSS, with a basic understanding of Material UI. As of a couple of weeks ago I started learning TypeScript, so I can say that I have a basic understanding of it. My short term goal is to boost my productivity by learning Node.Js and my mid term goal is to learn Python. Last but not least I believe that with determination, skill and passion you can achieve anything and everything.
