According to the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Navy (Ships), the LFT&E Management Plan revision effort should be viewed “as a model for successful implementation of the Integrated Product Team process for ship LFT&E, and [execution of the Plan] will result in a useful, informative and productive series of LFT&E analyses and trials for Flight IIA DDG 51 ships.”
