• Winning new business and writing exciting new tenders and bids to bring funded training services to employed or unemployed individuals throughout England • Managing and developing a strong operational team, ensuring that staff receive guidance, support and recognition of their development needs through regular one-to-one meetings, appraisals, reviews and personal development plans, whilst tackling any performance issues as appropriate• The design, implementation, administration, delivery and management of funded training contracts throughout London and the SE • Ensuring that contractual criteria and/or obligations were met and quality standards were maintained (both for employed and unemployed learners). • Liaising with local colleges, employers, councils and schools to ensure that services provided fit in with local council and community objectives • Maintaining productive and effective working relationships with external organisations and partners, such as ESFA, ESF, DWP, local colleges, training organisations, local councils etc• Maintaining effective relationships with our internal customers, through the use of feedback, good quality resources, a strong team ethos etc• Working effectively as part of a busy Senior Management Team to ensure the quality of service and effective delivery of outcomes across multiple contracts• Preparing the budgets for all projects, and then monitoring the financial performance of projects against budgets whilst taking corrective action to ensure targets are achieved• Marketing services and projects to relevant agencies throughout the South East region
