Working as part of a small private aviation operations team, key responsibilities are managing the airworthiness of the aircraft which includes managing all third party maintenance providers and planning and liaison with the regulatory authorities. Creation of regulatory manuals in support of the safe operation of the maintenance function. Auditing all third party suppliers to ensure they meet the requirements set out by the National Authority. Working closely with the pilot to ensure dispatch reliability. Disseminating safety critical information from the OEM and other industry sources to the pilot and owner. Advising on all aspects of aircraft operations and ownership including crew recruitment, insurance purchasing, ownership structures, maintenance provider and third-party service provider selection and original purchase of the aircraft.

Responsible for business development and penetrating new geographical markets, and all operational aspects of the EMEA company including setting up and maintaining the IT function, creation of legal documentation, setting best practice for the sales team and representing the company at trade shows in the USA, Europe, Africa and India. Ensuring strict adherence by all company staff to Anti-Money Laundering, Know Your Client and Anti-Bribery regulations and owner of the AML, KYC, Anti-Bribery and Ethical Conduct manuals. Skilled in negotiating aircraft sales purchase agreements, identifying and complying with regulatory hurdles with good knowledge of CAA, EASA and FAA requirements. Excellent technical skills in appraising aircraft when preparing them for sale and when purchasing an aircraft on behalf of a client. Identifying maintenance requirements and upgrade solutions for new clients and ensuring clients received a value-added service. Experienced in budget setting, monitoring performance against targets and cost cutting where necessary.
