Previous Responsibilities:Management of Agile squads of Software and Quality Engineers in the Bockchain space, developing sophisticated software systems in a B2B2C environment. Squads are comprised of full stack Software Engineers, Product Owners and Quality Engineers working to Scrum. Tech stack is OpenJDK 11/17, RabbitMQ, K8s, Angular, Cassandra, PostgresSQL. Asynchronous microservice architecture operating on a 24/7/365 basis with an emphasis on performance, stability and uptime.Responsibility for 70 mixed disciplinary technical staff and managers across four functions and 12 teams. These functions were:* Regulatory: high performance, high velocity database intensive event driven software systems integrated with 3rd party APIs operated by international government regulators* App Development: in-house scratch built back office web application software used by hundreds of staff to manage much of tech giant's operation* Support: 1st to 3rd line ITIL support teams servicing internal and external customers covering bulk of the departmental estate* MI: sophisticated MI & reporting from multi-100TB databases providing group P&L, banking reconciliations, product performance, exception reporting etc. across all functions and levels of the business
