I’ve worked in the non-profit sector in New England since 2012, with roles that have included community and agency leadership as well as direct delivery of services to clients. In my time with ASGCC, my contributions have included one-on-one and group support work in the HIV+ and addiction communities, community awareness and outreach, legislative outreach and lobbying, expansion and growth of agency’s social media presence, strategically integration of divergent agency services, and the design and implementation of ASGCC’s Drop-in Center, which moved the agency’s sexual health services “out of the closet and onto the street”. Before being named the President and CEO of ASGCC in 2019, I spent time with Gosnold as an outpatient clinician, and provided individual psychotherapy and group therapy for adults living in Provincetown, with a focus on trauma and addiction among marginalized populations.My first career – and “former life” – was in the film industry where I had the honor of working for Ridley’s Scott’s RSA and Scott Free production companies; my roles included Producer, Executive Assistant to Ridley Scott, Development Executive, and Associate Producer in New York, Los Angeles and London, with film credits that include the Oscar nominated ‘American Gangster’, as well as numerous music videos and commercials.I received my Master’s in Clinical Social Work from Boston University in 2015, and before that a Bachelor of the Arts degree in Theatre and Film from UCLA in 2000. I currently hold LCSW licensure.
