Permanent rank police supervisor. Currently managing 3 non-sworn shift commanders, two office managers and a wonderful group of 4 sworn and 35 non-sworn staff. We, together, are half of the records management team. We are tasked with handling all incoming and outgoing reports, written by police officers or online. We have paper, microfilm and digital reports going back at least 40 years. We maintain tens of thousands of contact receipts. We assist police departments around the country with some aspects of background checks. As a full duty police supervisor I also deploy, as required by my employer to special details and law enforcement related assignments.

Patrol supervisor holding the permanent rank of Sergeant. Operates as Sergeant in charge/shift commander. My job requirements involve multiple aspects. Insuring accountability of my officers for their patrol function. Administration of the reports and information generated by the patrol officers. Desimination of orders and training requirements to my officers. Of equal importance is making sure my assigned officers have what they need to do their jobs. They would say that priority should be giving them access to the Vacation book! :-)

Flight crew member in "Foxtrot"; Baltimore's helicopter unit. Duties included equipment usage with all on-board systems. Mapping, multiple radio operations, color HD camera and infrared cameras. Along with patrol support for the police we'd assist any city agency with their tasks to include fire and public works. In this role our duties included operating as an airborne command and control platform for emergencies in the law enforcement role as well as any public safety requirements.

As a K-9 handler my job involved the care of my assigned K-9 dogs. We performed as a street team to assist patrol units as requested. My K-9's were trained in narcotic detection, gun detection and protection (bite) training. While assigned to K-9 I had the honor to work with Bogger aka Booger for 3 years and with his younger brother Keegan aka King Kong for an additional 3 years. Keegan was bred for me so that I could have a puppy fron the same mother as Booger. They were very special dogs who performed their duties well with no hesitation EVER to do their job or protect me.

Administrative manager in the records management section. We are excited to be at the forefront of the transition to Axon field based reporting (paperless) and the implementation of NIBRS.
