Implemented BI warehouse architecture for paid search application used for aggregating data and managing digital campaigns. Re-architected current database solution utilizing SSIS, SQL Server 2008 partitioned databases and SQL Server Analysis Services. Automated DBA tasks such as index maintenance, database backups, and partitioning solutions. Interfaced with multiple data sources and feeds like: MySQL, SQL Server, XML documents, Kognitio, double click search, and Marin.

Developed database and ETL processes as part of multiphase healthcare project. Solution architecture included BizTalk Server 2009, SQL Server 2005, SSIS and C# development.

As DBA and SQL Developer, Mr. Gilmore was contracted to support in the continuing development of Chase's commercial card web applications. The primary database for these applications was a 650GB+ SQL Server 2005 database consisting of 1000+ stored procedures and 350+ tables. The environments contained many DTS packages to move the credit card transactions from the credit card processers into the JPMorgan's databases. Mr. Gilmore's primary responsibility was to create detailed development specs from the functional design documentation and then to develop the new functionality for biyearly releases into production

As part of a corporate global initiative, Mr. Gilmore was contracted as a SQL Server DBA to assist in the effort in expanding a North American web based reporting application worldwide. In order for McDonald's to expand their data collection systems from 13,000+ stores to more than 33,000, NCR was contracted to install a new data warehouse in a Teradata environment. Mr. Gilmore assisted in gathering the data requirements to move current data collections and objects into Teradata. Once the new data warehouse was completed and data from various vendors now importing data into the warehouse, work on the new global reporting application was started. The new global application sourced the data from Teradata into SQL Server 2000 and then imported in Analysis Services. The application then used both the relational and OLAP databases as the source for the global reporting tool. ABN AMRO, March 2004 - October 2004Contracted to provide data warehouse, ETL, and SQL Server expertise and knowledge for an expanding data warehouse application for the Financial Services Group. The application was a repository of securities data collected from many different data sources and firms. One of the primary requirements was to design and implement a solution to store this information in a uniform format and to extract, transform and load the data in as narrow of a timeframe as possible. In addition to his tech lead role on this project, Mr. Gilmore also acted as mentor, BI specialist, .NET knowledge expert, and business analyst.

For Allstate, Mr. Gilmore provided data warehouse design and development services and expertise in Microsoft Analysis Services 2000 for the investments group. eKaab was a short engagement where Mr. Gilmore provided services as a consultant and instructor for Business Intelligence training courses. Developed web based application for entry and editing of trading disputes. Application utilized a 3-tiered architecture using ASP, MTS and Oracle database as the backend. The user interface was comprised of ASP, HTML, CSS, XML, XSLT and JavaScript using Microsoft Visual InterDev 6. The business logic was developed in Visual Basic to create COM components in Microsoft Transaction Server. The stored procedures in Oracle were written in PL/SQL and SQL.

Developed data warehouse for use in a web based reporting application. Data warehouse used Microsoft SQL Server 2000 for the relational data store as well as the data mart for the OLAP database. Microsoft Analysis Services was used to store the MOLAP data. Microsoft Data Transformation Services was used for ETL processes. Data warehouse was 6GB in size with data from 300+ sites across the country. Business logic was implemented in COM+ components developed in Visual Basic 6.0. Website was developed in Visual InterDev 6.0 using HTML, ASP, JavaScript, VBScript, XML, XSLT and DHTML

Worked on multiple Internet and intranet development projects. On some of the projects Mr. Gilmore also functioned as software architect and technical lead. The Microsoft DNA architecture was used extensively for this project. Technology used: ASP, COM/COM+, SQL Server, T-SQL, IIS, HTML, DHTML, XML, XSLT, Dreamweaver, Photoshop and Flash.
