In order for McDonald's to expand their data collection systems from 13,000+ stores to more than 33,000, NCR was contracted to install a new data warehouse in a Teradata environment. Mr. Gilmore assisted in gathering the data requirements to move current data collections and objects into Teradata. Once the new data warehouse was completed and data from various vendors now importing data into the warehouse, work on the new global reporting application was started. The new global application sourced the data from Teradata into SQL Server 2000 and then imported in Analysis Services. The application then used both the relational and OLAP databases as the source for the global reporting tool. ABN AMRO, March 2004 - October 2004Contracted to provide data warehouse, ETL, and SQL Server expertise and knowledge for an expanding data warehouse application for the Financial Services Group. The application was a repository of securities data collected from many different data sources and firms.
