OBJECTIVE: I recently retired from my position as editor/writer at the Council for Agricultural Science and Technology. The job was interesting and staff members there are wonderful to work with--but family duties and the "tugs and pulls of the passing of time" convinced me that it was a good time to ease out. I will continue writing, and I am open to parttime situations in the fields of education, travel, agriculture, or some area where I can use my writing experience and education. SUMMARY: I much enjoyed my years as an educator and ag editor/writer. I worked at seven schools on three continents for 36 years and then spent eleven years with a highly respected agriculture organization. I was able to work smoothly with colleagues, students, and publishing audiences while also gaining knowledge about curriculum development, motivational skills, cultural diversity, problem solving, agriculture, sports, travel, and journalism.
