About Dan Grec
Originally from Australia, and after a short career as an Engineer, I've chosen a life of adventure.I drove 40,000 miles from Alaska to Argentina through 16 countries over 22 months, an expedition that changed my life, and I've published a book about.From mid-2016 thru early 2019 I circumnavigated the entire African continent, covering 54,000 miles around through 35 separate countries. I've published a photography book about that adventure, and the written account will be published in June 2020.I'm an adventure travel writer, public speaker and photographer.I present at overland, 4x4 and Jeep shows about my experiences, and what I have learned from my decade of vehicle-based expeditions through 54 countries spanning 95,000 miles.
