Mr. Guenthner is working on completing a book based upon his dissertation research. Mr. Guenthner is a scholarly practitioner still conducting quantitative research in wildland firefighter organizational safety culture using Cooper's (2000) Reciprocal Determinism Model, extending a recent study using the same model in the urban fire service. His dissertation topic was: Safety in the Context of Organizational Culture: Developing a Model Safety Culture within the U.S. Wildland Fire Service.Practitioner:I have 30 plus years of environmental, health, safety, and emergency management experience in the public & private sectors. I am ICS 100, 200, 300, 400, 700, and 800 trained plus a number of other FEMA EMI courses.
