Responsible for the maintenance and development of the company's IT infrastructure. Ensuring maximum availability and stability at all times, whilst maintaining forward progress.

Working in a team of two, reporting directly to the Technical Director, to develop and deliver the "VIMS" service: a 'Virtual IT Manager' for SMEs with outsourced IT support. Forming and maintaining relationships not only with customers but also with other departments inside the company. Providing trusted technical advice and strategic guidance.

Working within a 6 man team, providing outsourced remote IT support to predominantly SME customers. Proactively monitoring customer systems using Kasaya remote management software. Managing workload to ensure that SLAs are not only met, but exceeded wherever possible, whilst maintaining the highest standards of customer care.

Working within a tight-knit team of 6 to provide desktop and application support to 300+ users across 4 UK sites within a busy telesales-based company. Develop and maintain good working relationships with users in all parts of the business, from senior management down. Ensure SLAs are met and personal workloads are effectively managed.

Initially working as a Helpdesk Assistant within the Bradford North Division, providing public facing services 24 hours a day. Dealing with any and all public inquiries at the police station and non-urgent telephone inquiries. The logging of ongoing incidents, recording of crimes and road traffic incidents, and taking witness statements. Moved to Holbeck Criminal justice Support Unit as a Casebuilder after approx 18 months. Responsible for the completion of case files for submission to the Crown Prosectution Service. Tracing and interviewing witnesses, statement taking, evidence collection, file preparation and presentation.

Initially gaining a position as Marketing Assistant at one of ISA's subsidiaries in Scotland, I moved quickly into the IT sphere via Management Information Services where I provided detailed sales analysis data to all sections of the business using tools such as SQL for AS400, Lotus 123, Excel, and Powerpoint. This move led me eventually to the head office in Bradford where my interest in IT, my excellent communication skills and desire to deliver saw me asked to join the IT Helpdesk. As part of this 5 strong team I was involved in all aspects of IT service delivery across the company's 4 UK sites. I was also required to liaise regularly with members of the Group IT department, and our opposite numbers in the ISA group's French and Swedish offices.
