I am an experienced and enthusiastic individual with over 16 years experience as a designer/within the design industry. I am currently working within (and thoroughly enjoying) the Construction sector as an Oak Frame Designer with previous job roles in the Commercial and Industrial heating sector.I have been fortunate that my roles within the design industry have allowed me to work on many exciting projects, producing bespoke high end products for many happy clients.I have contributed to the design and manufacture of many new and diverse products in varying capacities and through being dedicated and adaptable I have learned many skills to aid and ensure successful project completion and client satisfaction.Some of my skills and previous work includes:• Design of bespoke Oak frame buildings and structures• Design of bespoke packaged heating/hot water equipment, skid modules, warm air heaters, acoustic enclosures and various ancillaries• 3D CAD modelling and drawing production for parts, assemblies, systems and concepts• 2D CAD utilization for technical drawings, layouts, schematics, P&ID’s• Management and maintenance of product data management (PDM) software, drawing registers and parts libraries• Product Development• Project Management• Production of technical documentation, datasheets & operation manuals• Production of In-house assembly documentation including Work Instructions, layouts and Bills Of Materials• Design and production of images and publications for company marketing and enhancement• Quality control ‘snagging’ and final inspection of products and components• Sales quotations• Liaison with Production Team, Suppliers, Consultants, Clients and Sub-contractors
