Emmaus Community of Pittsburgh is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Pittsburgh's South Side which is dedicated to providing permanent homes, respite care, and advocacy to persons with intellectual disabilities in the Pittsburgh region.Responsible for coming up with and implementing a comprehensive two year outreach plan to further the mission of the organization.

• Member of the 2011-2012 class of the AmeriCorps Public Allies program of Pittsburgh, PA (operating in partnership with CORO Center for Civic Leadership)• Employed as Eduaction and Outreach Coordinator at Emmaus Community of Pittsburgh (see above)• Participant in rigorous leadership and professional development training and seminars; member of team service project in the South Side community of Pittsburgh; active volunteer with local non-profit organizations and civic engagement activities

A full-service marketing agency, specializing in branding, media planning and event coordination. DRM and MidnightGuru are known throughout the Pittsburgh region for hosting elaborate parties, corporate parties, charity fundraisers, happy hour parties, fashions shows and ongoing nightclub promotions.

Performed various volunteer based community-service projects

- Helped build houses for low-income families and elderly recipients

- Repaired existing trails and built approx. 5 miles of new trail in and around the St. Marks National Wildlife Refuge as part of the National Scenic Trail and The Florida Trails program.

- Helped in running Red Cross Headquarters for entire state of Louisiana
