Since the start of 2017, working at the ‘Go Ape’ in Thetford I have gained more experience learningto instruct Segway sessions, where I take out a group of customers and demonstrate how the Segway works before leading them round the trails. This is a much more personal activity as you are with the customers the whole time which has developed my interaction with people enormously.Over the 2017/18 winter I worked for VIP Ski as a chalet host in La Plagne, France. This again continued to add to my experience of communicating and interacting with customers and guests. Over the 18/19 winter I have been employed as a ski guide for VIP SKI. Taking groups of up to twelve around the mountain, at all times keeping safety at the forefront and also making sure that the guests where getting the most out of their skiing.Since June I have been self employed as a personal trainer at pure gym this has given me a different skill set. Personal training is all about building rapport with clients and understanding what they are looking to get from their training. It has also given me a great insight into the world of sales as all my clients I first meet them face to face and then from their by building rapport with them turn them into paying clients. I set myself goals to aim for, from lead generation to client retention. This is an environment that I thrive in as it keeps me focused and gives me the drive to keep progressing. I also have to look after the financial and marketing side of my business and understand how that will influence the product you are selling.
