I came to Wegmans as an assistant front end manager. After approximately three years I was given the opportunity to temporarily work in produce as a way to learn a perishable department. I was able to move into produce as a team leader (thanks to a wonderful store manager who gave me an incredible opportunity and many personal insights into improving my career) permenantly. As a memeber of front end management I also filled in as a store night manager frequently and had the opportunity to act as the front end manager for approximately nine months.I became a produce manager in 2008.
