Please allow me to introduce myself….I worked as a deputy head in emotional and behavioural schools for many years and made great connections with people, including recruiting the right people for the job. I know how people work. I recognise talent. Needing a change, I retrained to become a Forest School teacher. And I also teach kids how to fish and how to enjoy being outdoors. But to recruitment…I changed from being a teacher as I started my own business offering FS and fishing as a intervention to local schools. Soon, I was learning about trades as I gained a mentor in a carpenter/ builder as we developed Forest School environments.I still love (and do) the Forest School and fishing stuff, but I also understand that I have excellent leadership experience and know a good worker from a bad worker.
