Manual testing a database upgrade to the Excise Movement Control System and system testing the new Notification of Vehicle Arrivals application in an Agile environment.

Main Projects:• Regression testing for the Life System Upgrade project, using manual tests on all connected systems and applications. A suite of automation tests was also built and run using RFT to test online Life transactions. Liaised with in-house colleagues and a 3rd party off-shore consultancy in India to ensure accuracy of tests.• Used RFT to execute automation testing of the development and roll out of a new web based real time enquiry system to external brokers. Ensuring data could be retrieved via XML from all of the life and pensions systems actively used in Canada Life and displayed correctly on the portal.

• Integral part of a team that tested the migration from the in-house databases of newly acquired clients on to IFDS’s third party administration FAST 2K system• Designed and co-ordinated a suite of regression tests on IFDS’s FAST 2K, AWD, AS400 and other surrounding systems, which was executed prior to all batch releases.
