At WINS, I worked with a great group of enthusiastic and dedicated people who believe in what they do.Their energy had allowed me to completely redesign the entire Enterprise data and application architecture: A Coordinator Client management and content management system that feeds design and data to a dynamic Client website, and an Electronic Wellness Record application used by our clinics and health coaches.The ability to host a company workshop and discover the requirements of tools required for the corporation was key before the design.The process of re-engineering the entire database and automating processes through technology has provided to our staff, clients, and participants with a much more user-friendly interface; We have integrated data, applications, and provided a single-sign-on(SSO) platform to multiple functions.

Working for the City of Lenexa was a rewarding 7 to 8 years in my career. Giving back to community is a common theme; a shared 'Love for Community' among all the staff at the City of Lenexa.With that said, there are too many to mention all, as so many team projects to bring about the best applications to our staff and community were had.1) An interactive ASP.Net application with AJAX and database model using MS SQL Server back-end to replace third-party software used by our Legal department and outside contactors, thus providing immediate assistance for new enhancements and process integration between the Legal and Finance departments. Embedded SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) reports are now modifiable and immediate upon the request of customers and external auditors. This system is an enormous digital replacement for paper. 2) Created and managed development of .Net and GIS applications for a Service Request system via website and mobile with the use of Google maps API and internal third-party enterprise system. With the collaboration of several departments: Executive, Municipal Services, Community Development and Code Enforcement, we developed the most streamlined process and assignment of submittals through both the .Net website and mobile app. 3) Created interactive ASP.net City volunteer online application using AJAX and database model using MS SQL Server back-end for the public website and intranet. Citizens’ feedback is positive as to filling out an application only one time rather than one for every event. The system manages hours, volunteers, volunteer dates, and provides several embedded reports in SSRS.4) Created interactive ASP.net Animal licensing application and database model using MS SQL Server back-end for pet owners to create accounts, add pets with their associated information, and to pay online. Created a VB.Net desktop application for the acceptance of payments, management, and printing animal licenses using Crystal reports.

Wrote internal applications for audit reports on general ledgers. Wrote a mainframe application in COBOL with an embedded application called EZTrieve to extract data used in these reports that tracked abnormal activity in the banking system. This application increased monthly reports from 20 to over 16000 for bank auditors to meet the requirements of the Patriot Act and Sarbanes Oxley Act.
