A passionate and driven individual currently working as a media executive at Leeds Rhinos in Rugby League. As a sport fanatic, I’ve followed and reported on two of my sporting passions, Rugby League and American Football, as well as Athletics, Netball, Cricket and more. Eager to learn and find out more about the wider sports media industry in the UK and worldwide, and someone that enjoys working and learning in a team with others.Experiences:LEEDS RHINOS | Media and PR Assistant- Progressed from being a volunteer, to freelance, to contracted as part of the media team.- Gained knowledge and experience working in a variety of fields, including web content creation, social media planning and content, live streaming and broadcast, analytics and more.- Reported mainly with the club’s Academy teams, as well as aiding the wider team with first team and women’s- Also supported the wider marketing team with content production for emails, web articles and social media. From 2019 to 2022, I was part of the team behind the AV production on a match day at AMT Headingley.UK AMERICAN FOOTBALL- Supported both Leeds based teams, Carnegie American Football and the Yorkshire Rams since 2021.- Worked with outside organisations, such as Hawaii based KHON, to tell stories of athletes such as Matt Mariota in 2022.- From joining university, covered the 2021 season for CAF as they reached the semi finals of the BUCS competition. Focused on social media content, including live video on Instagram and regular Twitter updates, as well as a range of articles about the team.- Also part of a small media team that helped over the Rams from 2023.CASTLEFORD TIGERS | Academy Reporter- Continued developing match reporting skills by writing match reports for the Tigers’ Under-19s academy team in 2017.
