Software engineer for Edinburgh-based AI consultancy New Gradient.After a degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Sheffield, I began travelling the world following the UCI Mountain Bike World Series, first as a freelance photographer for a variety of brands and teams, and subsequently as the lead "Gravity" photographer for the series itself.I always welcome new challenges and leaving the cycling industry to pursue a career in programming has been an exciting journey.My new path as a software engineer for New Gradient has me tackling a broad range of projects for this rapidly growing AI consultancy. From machine learning development and cloud app deployments to network infrastructure, work is challenging, engaging and always interesting.
