I am undertaking doctoral study with Horizon Centre for Doctoral Training at the University of Nottingham, partnering with the newly formed Trustworthy Autonomous Systems Hub and Ipsos. My research concerns investigating social media discourses surrounding public-facing decision-making algorithms - such as ChatGPT, the NHS Covid-19 app and the 2020 A Level algorithm - using Natural Language Processing, corpus linguistics and critical discourse analysis.I have previously worked in primary education, specialising in the teaching and learning of English.
