Working within the IT Delivery Team, leading mixed and diverse teams both onshore and offshore, I am responsible for organising and managing all phases of the project lifecycle to deliver business objectives that aligns to the Wilko IT strategy. This includes scoping and developing business cases to secure funding for upcoming initiatives, managing project governance plans, resource capacity planning, and project reporting at various governance forums to director level stakeholders.A more extensive list of responsibilities executed within my role are listed below but not limited to:• Managing technology, people, and change to deliver strategic outcomes on time and within budget.• Supporting concept activity, Including estimating, planning, RFP support and Vendor selection.• Lead on stakeholder management through Programme Boards, and Steering Groups.• Managing third party delivery partners and suppliers, both onsite and offsite.• Leading and managing diverse teams in a large and changing environment.• Ability to adapt to changing working situations, managing teams virtually. • Using both Waterfall and Agile principles to develop governance structures suitable to deliver Projects/Programmes at pace.• Mentoring and developing of Team Members, enabling high performance teams to deliver business and strategic objectives. • Weighing the relative costs and benefits of potential actions and then Identifying the most appropriate option.• Provide guidance and coaching to direct reports and programme team members. • Financial Management, reporting on current cost positions, proactively mitigating challenges that would incur cost or time delays.• Recognising talent and mentoring team members to fulfil their goals and securing new job roles
