As a driven sales and business development professional with strengths in strategic planning and execution, I am proud to be known for my integrity, creativity, communication skills, partnership development, and team leadership.Throughout the first half of my 20+ year professional career, my drive was centered in the strengths I had been developing up to that point.Being a difference-making teammate and growing into an effective team leader - are strengths I honed in on through years and years of team sports, which culminated in being a team captain in a Division-I athletic program.Creating strong, lasting business partnerships through genuine relationship building - is a strength developed over time with experiences on all sides of the desk, with two years as a buyer, five years as a broker, and two decades on the supplier side of the business.Over the last two decades of my career, with more and more opportunities and experiences through roles of increasing responsibilities - my drive has truly been influenced above all by the passions that fuel me.My growing desire to lead teams and teammates, with a laser focus on development and results, has been a passion of mine for many years - from team sports, to team building, to team management. Using the creative side of my brain every chance possible, has always been a passion near and dear to who I am - and as my professional career has evolved, so too has my comfort level and ability to explore ways to spread my creative wings effectively within my work, not using them only for personal projects. Work can be fun too!And perhaps my greatest passion, and one that continues to grow without bounds - is my overwhelming desire to give-back.  Later this year, I (with A LOT of support) will be hosting a 16th annual fundraising event that raises money for a local high school memorial scholarship fund.  When hosting the first event sixteen years ago, I knew I was feeling something very different, very special.  What I didn't know is that those feelings would then drive me over the next two decades to host dozens of events, volunteer at numerous non-profits, raise over $100,000 for various causes, and work towards creating a my very own foundation for giving. Today, I very actively seek out every opportunity, both personally and professionally to utilize my strengths and feed my greatest passions.
