Requirements Control Manager with a background in Light Plate Metal Fabrication and Marine Engineering with a Foundation degree focused in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the University of Plymouth.Starting my Career back in 2010, with Babcock Marine as an Apprentice Fabricator, I have continually increased my skill set over the 10+ years and found my passion for fabricating when arriving in the Light Plate Metal Shop of the Devonport Dockyard site. While there I developed skills such as Interpreting engineering drawings and documents, problem solving and started to work on my management and leadership skills when being appointed leading hand within the section where I helped lead a team of fabricators and welders to consistently achieve in delivering Marine Based fabricated items back to the customer within set time periods. From there I have since moved in to a project based role where I can now put some of the gained practical knowledge to use to help with the complex planning of submarine project maintenance periods.
