- I deliver seminars, tutorials, and practical classes, and assist in the marking of student work across levels 4, 5 and 6- I work with colleagues in the continuous review and development of the curriculum for existing programmes and in the design, development, and launch of new programmes. - I undertake academic duties such as contributing to the setting of examination papers, and marking formative and summative assessments according to the School and University procedures and to sustain the high level of teaching quality offered by the School.- I provide learning support and guidance for students in their studies and to undertake any required pastoral support of students.- To be successful in my role, I maintain a broad knowledge of up-to-date research and scholarship in Psychology to ensure that teaching is of the quality expected.- Communication / Documentation• I communicate effectively to undergraduate and postgraduate students• I communicate effectively across a wide range of audiences.• I liaise, establish and maintain positive links with external agencies and providers.

This role requires me to: encourage students' active involvement and participation by helping to create a learning environment in which all feel able to contribute; conduct and facilitate activities and exercises for students; help students improve their understanding of module materials; and to supervise and guiding students as they undertake laboratory experiments.

I provided person-centred care for individuals with an intellectual disability, who were frequently dually-diagnosed with challenging behaviour, speech impairments and mental health problems.

I worked closely with Professor John Wearden exploring time perception within a number of computer-based experiments. My role consisted of a manifold of duties. I personally had to carry out a number of literature reviews in order to create all the necessary paper work for each participant (Information sheets, consent forms, debrief sheets). I additionally had to recruit all the participants via a number of methods, including online recruitment systems. I administrated all of the computer-based experiments, making certain each computer was set up with the correct programme, the corresponding information forms were administered, and all consent forms were completed and stored under proper procedures. I was also first point of contact for any enquiries or requests.
