Operational responsibilities have included facility and hotel services, pharmacy, infection control and clinical operations.• Led $500 million facilities redevelopment project through Master Plan, functional specification, architect selection and negotiation with Ministry of Health & Long-Term Care and Infrastructure Ontario• Collaborated with Infrastructure Ontario, consultants and other stakeholders in the development of generic facility design specifications for hospitals in Ontario• In partnership with the Vice President, Strategy & Network Development, lead the creation of a 10 year strategic plan and related business plan

Responsible for the sound financial management of the organization’s resources, including financial planning, management and reporting; and treasury. • Maximized available revenue through review of cost allocations• Participated in a Ministry of Health & Long-Term Care project that developed and implemented a province-wide, long-term care patient classification system and related funding methodology• Lead implementation of integrated financial and administrative systems to meet the changing information and operating needs of the organization• Revised financial presentations to the Board of Directors and Management to simplify complex operations and focus attention on critical issues• Lead implementation of integrated human resource and payroll information systems to improve information, decrease administrative effort and enhance central control of human and financial resources
