In 2006 I got into the security industry in the sales sector. I consistently performed in the top 10% of the sales team. In 2008 recruited, trained and managed a team of sales reps that brought in $250,000 in sales within 6 months. I transitioned over to the technical side in 2009. I was the regional service manager over all of Canada and Alaska from 2010 to 2013 and managed a customer base in the tens of thousands. I hired, trained and managed dozens of security technicians all over this vast region. In 2013 The company I was working for decided to sell off its Canadian assets. I decided this was my time to take the industry knowledge I had gained and Aegis Security was established. I developed my own customer relations database, created and maintained my website and online profiles. I designed and published all promotional products. Now, years later, I have a larger customer base with an extremely low attrition rate. I have done all this without having any loans.
