CurrentMonitoring scheduled maintenance inputs (A & C-Checks, Entry Into Service checks, Out Of Phase events and AOG findings within scheduled maintenance) to ensure parts and tooling availability for various bases including Jet2's Leeds and Manchester hangars, line stations and MRO outstations with the aim of ensuring airworthy and reliable parts are available for installation to Jet2 Aircraft. This is achieved by looking at real-time findings as well as planned future maintenance, previous parts usage, analysing parts consumption forecasts and ordering or distributing parts across the Jet2 network. As of November 2023 I manage 737-300/800 Heat Exchanger stock allocation for planned maintenance events (A-Checks, C-Checks and Entry Into Service checks). As of October 2024 I manage tooling required for a Split-Scimitar modification programme on a series of Boeing 737-800 aircraft. This is to replace Blended winglets with more aerodynamic Split-Scimitar winglets that allow for better fuel efficiency - mitigating the turbulent vortex flows generated at wingtips and blended winglets and reducing drag. The Split-Scimitar winglets reduce operational costs for the modified aircraft and help to reduce Jet2's annual fuel consumption and environmental impact while reinforcing Jet2's commitment to Sustainability.I also manage an exchange agreement with a preferred vendor relating to remove-and-replace tasks of Horizontal Stabilizer Trim Actuators on a set of Boeing 737-800 aircraft. This requires monitoring of stock as it enters the business in an overhauled condition.Additionally, I work with the Jet2 AMOS Development team and external vendors such as Boeing, Proponent and Airbus to design, test and release AMOS software [including a live peer-to-peer service and cloud-based data retrieval and synchronisation system known as SPEC 2000].As of October 2024 I have been part of two AMOS version releases and we are in the final stages of preparation for another version release.
